Aramis Silmontaix
The Prodigal Father

Aramis was at one point in time the hero, all Alric dreamed of being. It came to a shattering halt when his father left on an airship for war, leaving him the Patriarch of a now broken household. Thought dead for turns, Aramis is now back in Alric’s life and the two are slowly working out the terms of this arrangement. While Alric still admires his father from afar, it is still very much a work in progress.

Elphanse Silmontais
The Absentee Mother

Elphanse, at one point, literally saved Alric from the grasp of Garleans and to a lesser extent his own absentee biological dad. When Aramis left the family, Alric witnessed first hand his mother descending into a personal hell of addiction and alcoholism to deal with his loss. With her precarious grasp on sobriety, the two are slowly working on mending the bridges, though he is not quick to forgive or forget.

Syluss Koellian
The Uncle-Father

Syluss has been the most constant male figure in Alric’s life. When he had no where else to turn, Syluss was there to offer advice, silence, a hunting trip, and more. Alric holds his uncle in a very special spot in his heart that quite possibly outranks his own parents, for now.

Elisif Silmontaix
The Annoying Sister

Elisif, like Alric, is another one of the Silmontaix strays. Picked up shortly after Aramis came into the picture, the two were quick to decide they were to be at war and not friends. Drawn closer together once Aramis had left, the two formed an alliance that now is stronger than most. He may even eventually call Elisif a friend. Maybe.

Alandiel & Venelle Silmontaix
The Childless Aunties

The Aunties of House Silmontaix proper hold a specific sway over Alric. Thought to once be the “cool” aunties, he is starting to realize they are quite boring compared to the rest of the family. And he appreciates that fact, when he needs to get away from the nonsense.

Hilaremont & Faustine Silmontaix
The Rich Grandparents

While Alric and Faustine never quite got along--his adopted grandmother was completely appalled by his half Highlander/half Elezen family tree--she is now, thankfully, no longer with the living and no longer a problem. Hilaremont, however, had embraced his grandchild from the start regardless of his mixed heritage. Whenever it is time for a new set of armor, or something he doesn’t want his parents to know he has, his grandfather is always willing to help him out.

Khash Ura
The Best Friend

Khash found Alric drinking away his sorrows in a bar one evening. One thing led to another, and Khash ended up pulling out one of Alric’s molars in the middle of the Forgotten Knight. How it happened was a blur, but now the two consider themselves Blood Brothers and that’s the important thing. Alric is not afraid of expressing his love for his best mate, no matter how out of the norm it may seem.

Nemariel Tournoux
The Ex Girlfriend

Nem will always hold a very special spot in Alric’s heart. The on again off again on again and ultimately off one last time was his first experience with a crush and with women in general. While they are on rocky footing following their last break up, Alric hopes to mend that wound when she is ready for it. He is unwilling to have her completely out of his life, afterall.

Euphemie Fontaine
The Tiny Ex Girlfriend

While Alric and Euphemie may have had a rocky start, Alric found comfort in the girl in the wake of his first relationship crashing and burning. While at first he was resistant to the idea of another relationship, he eventually began to open up. While normally turned off at the prospect of being around nobility, Euphie had managed to find a way into his heart faster than he expected--even if she is kind of a nerd. The relationship faded, as young love is want to do, but his heart will always have a space for the tiny ex girlfriend.
